Landscape development at the treatment plant site
The open spaces at the treatment plant are meticulously maintained and nurtured. All of the landscaped areas are irrigated with effluents from the plant and bloom in a variety of colors during all seasons of the year. The Association has been awarded five beauty stars each year in the “Beautiful Industry in a Beautiful Israel” competition sponsored by the Council for a Beautiful Israel. The plant was awarded a “Gold Star” in 2009 for having received five beauty stars for five continuous years. The plant was awarded beauty stars in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 in 2015 and so was again awarded the “Gold Star”.
